From May 17 to May 20, CH$ took a trip to Las Vegas. With stops at the Paris Hotel, Cirque du Soleil, a training seminar for trade shows, and, of course, the Vegas strip, CH$ made the rounds. Steve Miller of Two Hat Marketing (http://www.twohatmarketing.com), a presenter at the trade show, happily displayed the CH$ in front of the podium. Fellow attendee, Timothy Ruiz of Pall Corporation in Florida, held up a handful of CH$ on the Las Vegas strip. Total distance CH$ traveled from Chemainus: 2,101 km.

Chemainus Monetary Foundation Founder and CEO, Dr. Karl Schutz, traveled to Sherbrooke, Quebec to be part of an amazing mural project led by Serge Malenfant, and made sure to bring the beautiful Chemainus Dollar with him. Dr. Schutz was the special guest of M.U.R.I.R.S. and of Tourism Sherbrooke in hoping to welcome in Sherbrooke the 2012 International Global Mural Conference for which one other city (York, Philadelphia, USA) has presented a bid.
